The first service is important because new components settle during early running. Check for leaks, loose fasteners, belt tension and abnormal vibration.
Oil and filter replacement should follow the engine manual. Air filter condition depends strongly on site dust.
After service, run the set and record voltage, frequency, oil pressure, coolant temperature and load.
