White smoke can come from cold startup, unburned fuel, low compression, injector problems or coolant entering the combustion chamber.

Short white smoke during cold start may be normal, but persistent smoke under load needs inspection.

Record temperature, load, smoke duration and recent maintenance history before contacting a service engineer.
